The Broken Binding editions of the Inheritance Cycle were first teased on October 29, 2024. The art direction was done by Eon van Aswegen and Petrik Leo. (Petrik worked mostly on the dust jackets and Eon on everything else.) With Christopher's agreement, the dragons on the covers were reordered/changed to better suit their roles in the books. 10,000 sets were printed, with Christopher hand-signing 40,000 tip-in sheets. These books contain no extra text content.

Sale/Release info
The Broken Binding opened pre-sale for its Tier 1 Fantasy subs on Friday, 28th March 2025 at 12pm GMT, with a set cost of £115. Their Tier 2 Fantasy subs on Saturday, 29th March at 12pm GMT, also for £115. For those non-subscribers who signed up for the interest form got access through an email on Sunday, 30th March at 12pm BST, with the price for the set at £125. The general sale took place on Monday, 31st March 2025 at 12pm BST, with a set cost of £125. As of May 1st 2025, the sets are still for sale.
The books aim to ship out in late May to early June 2025.
